Luthier Tim Ananijev completed his three-year apprenticeship at BSZ e.o.plauen Schulteil Klingenthal Musikinstrumentenbau in 2022.

Since the beginning he was curious about vintage American steel string guitars. The way they sound, the beautiful look and these wonderful materials especially on pre-war Martins fascinated Tim from day one.

After many internships and working together with Nils Schebesta, Max Spohn and Eric Henschke he started his own business building vintage inspired instruments using traditional construction methods in Leipzig, Germany.

Tim works closely with other luthiers such as sharing his shop with Nils Schebesta, getting selfmade pickguards from Alexander Voss or when he needs help in any task from Blazer & Henkes.
